GlamGlow enters a new category this Fall with lip care.
July 20, 2015

Editor-in-Chief
GlamGlow is ready to enter new category that will give its fans—and lip fanatics—something to smile about. The brand—founded by Glenn and Shannon Dellimore and now part of The Estee Lauder Companies—is rolling out a PoutMud Fizzy Lip Treatment and Wet Lip Balm Treatment, a new lip duo that will be stocked at Sephora shops this Fall. Sure, PoutMud could be seen as just another lip treatment—but GlamGlow has formulated this pair with unique ingredients and created packaging that will draw more attention than the usual ho-hum tube or pot. The Dellimores opted for a pair of sliver spheres housed in a uniquely twisted box that’s sure stand out on the shelf. It is also a sexy approach in a utilitarian category—and that’s what the brand has been all about since the early days when team Dellimore's concoctions were an underground secret sought out by Hollywood A-listers. The exfoliating lip treatment features ingredients like Caribbean cane sugar, Hawaiian sea salt and hibiscus flower powder for multi-level physical exfoliation; a blend of sweet almond oil, guava, cherimoya, star fruit, lychee and mangosteen; and Teaoxi Moroccan mint leaf, which calms and soothes. It is applied and massaged on the lips for about 10 seconds as a pre-exfoliate, then users massage it further with water, which activates a fizzing feel (signifying the renewal action). After rinsing, they are ready to apply the balm. Formulated with ingredients to provide long-lasting intense hydration (sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, murmur butter, shea butter, tamanu oil and babassu oil), the balm also also contains Kombuchua extract to restore and refresh. The scrub can be used two or three times a week—but not on chapped lips. The balm should be applied after each scrub application, and can be used under a lipstick or lipgloss or alone for a fresh, natural pout. The duo, which will be sold together for $49, will hit Sephora shelves in late September/early October.
